Four Weeks!✨🪄✨
…Four weeks of the healing process. This is a little snap shot during the journey of an Acne client I have been working with.

This sweet soul has been struggling with severe inflamed and non inflamed acne for the past few years. He had gotten to the point where he didn’t even want to go outside. Tired of the stares and people’s misguided assumptions about his diet, hygiene, etc…
We have been working together for a total of three months. This is just the last four weeks. We have gotten past the bulk of treating his inflamed acne and are now in the healing phase. I cannot wait to show you the complete process!

These are clusters of vellus hairs that have become embedded within hair follicles, called Trichostasis Spinulosa or …Kiwi hair!🥝

TS is only a cosmetic concern and is a result from successive production & retention of vellus hairs from a single hair matrix in a follicle. The precise cause of this in unknown and can occur in both men & women, adults and mature skin.

These extractions are some of my favorite! They do take time and patience. The best way to remove these “kiwi hairs” are with needle nose and - or arched needle nose tweezers. But, once removed… the skin look so clean! Very satisfying!

There is no actual “cure” for the accumulation of hairs but, Manual exfoliation and regular facial treatments with a skin care professional will keep these little guys to a minimum.

This amazing client came to me with nodule-acne caused by a prescription she must take. These nodules were deep, uncomfortable and would take months to go away.
She was also very bothered by the lines around her mouth and lower face area.

I opted to start with a series of BioRePeels (3) to address the deep nodules and start to soften the lines around the mouth and lower face. Our last treatment was a VTox with micro current. She is also on a solid home care.
