I have some news…

The last 3 and a half years have been an incredible journey, filled with laughter, vulnerability and moments of profound healing. When I opened Ritual Skin + Wax, I was flying by the seat of my pants with no plan. Working a full time job and squeezing in clients wherever I could. As you can imagine, this wasn’t sustainable. By now, many of you know, I stepped away from my day job in July to focus on my passion. After taking some time for self-care and reflection, I’m happy to announce that my books are finally OPEN! In addition, I’ve transitioned Ritual Skin + Wax to Megan Crotts Esthetics for this new era. I’m humbled to share my gift with you and am excited for what’s to come 🖤✨

Since closing my books in December, I’m popping in to give you all a little update.

I’ve been so blessed with the most amazing clients that continue to trust me and keep me busy! I truly never imagined a time where I would be unable to accept new clients and it’s been incredibly difficult for me to turn clients away. Many of you know, I hold a full time position with the state, along with running my business part time. I’ve increased my business hours and worked my days off to continue to meet the needs of current and prospective clients but ultimately, that leaves me one day a week to pack in rest, household duties, errands, family time, socializing and everything inbetween. I give so much of myself in the treatment room and I have no other choice but to practice what I preach and give myself a chance to REST and recharge.

I cannot stress enough the importance of PRE-BOOKING your future appointments! Almost all of you immediately schedule your next appointment following your service however, it’s not a bad idea to book out the next 2-3 appointments to ensure you remain on schedule and get the date/time you need.

📣 MY BOOKS ARE NOW CLOSED 📣

I’ve been on the verge of making this post for several months now and doing everything in my power to avoid it… My clientele base has grown exponentially and I’m SO GRATEFUL for each and every one of you. In an effort to keep up with this growth, I’ve neglected myself, my home and other priorities in order to accommodate my current clients, while making space for new clients. This has pushed me beyond my capacity and I’m finding it hard to continue stretching myself beyond my limits.

With that being said, my books are now closed to NEW CLIENTS. This allows me to prioritize and ensure that my dedicated clients that have been so loyal thus far are able to get appointments scheduled first and provide a better experience while you’re in my treatment room. If I have last minute cancellations or find that I have some openings available AFTER my current clients needs are met, I will post openings here, as well as my FB and IG stories, so be sure to follow and check often.

At this time, I don’t have a set plan for how long my books will be closed however, I know that I intend to continue with them closed at least until after the holiday season.
