Sain’s Barber Shop & New Downtown Parking Regulations

Customers are the lifeblood of our business and we appreciate the city’s efforts to make parking more convenient and accessible for you. No solution is perfect, but new regulations are intended to open up street parking for customers and encourage all day parkers (employees, residents, business owners) to utilize lots behind businesses.

Simply put, street parking is limited to 3 hours between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. There are many all day lots if you plan to be in town for an extended amount of time.

Here is some guidance based on our interpretation of the new policies (please refer to posted signs! This Facebook post will not get you out of a parking ticket 😀).

1. Where can I park to get my hair cut? In front of the shop (more parking will be open since all day parkers will have to utilize other spaces) or in any of the all day lots. There’s an all day lot directly behind the shop.

2. I want to get my hair cut, then go to dinner in town. Where do I park? PLEASE DO! If dinner is after 5, you can park in any of the street spaces or the all day lots. The 3 hour max is between 8am-5pm M-F, so you can get your hair cut then head to dinner.

3. I want to get a hair cut then have lunch during the week. Where do I park? Since this is between 8am-5pm on a weekday, park in an all day lot if you expect it’ll be more than 3 hours. If it’s a weekend or you’ll be out in less than 3 hours, the street or an all day lot both work.

💈Sains Barber Shop will be open reg hrs tomorrow 6:00-5:30. Due to Festival the street in front of shop is closed but we can be easily accessed from parking lots behind and around shop. Haircuts and egg rolls for the WIN! 💈

Sains barbershop will be closed tomorrow Saturday, March 1st to observe the life and legacy of Burl Sain. Please pray for Tommy and his family on this day.
