Summer Dayz Salon and Spa

The Country Roads Quilt Guild’s annual Charity Quilt Walk and Auction is returning this October as a Main Street Morgantown affiliate event, with proceeds benefiting the Mon County Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

The guild’s donated quilts will brighten storefronts throughout Downtown Morgantown and beyond, giving the community a chance to admire the quilts while supporting Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s mission to ensure no child sleeps on the floor. The Mon County Chapter has provided more than 500 beds to local families to date.

The online auction will be hosted by Joe R. Pyle, with bidding concluding in early November. Every dollar raised will support the Mon County Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Quilts can be viewed at these Downtown locations:

• The Book Exchange
• Little Paris Café
• Coni & Franc
• Coombs Flowers
• Morgantown Public Library
• Old Stone House
• Bear Wood Company
• Silver Pennies
• River Fair Trade
• Euphorbia / Hoot & Howl
• Appalachian Gallery
• Zeke’s / Blue Moose Coffee House
• Pathfinder
• Your Community Foundation
• Monkey Wrench Books
• Apothecary Ale House
• MAC
• Morgantown History Museum

Take a walk through Downtown, find a quilt, place a bid and help support Sleep in Heavenly Peace’s work to provide beds for local children.
