Our “Pothole” is still there. But, the DOH dump crew was at the bottom of the hill. So hopefully they will make it to us soon🤣♥️

I hope everyone gets use to coming to the salon from Westover. Because leave it to Mon County to decide to build roads to some place, after they build businesses up an area. Really wish they would finish or reopen Martin Hollow Rd from West Ridge to Mylan Park Business Park. So we could avoid the Star City Exit all together.

The WVDOT’s Star City Interchange Improvement Project is officially moving forward. This project will transform the I-79 and Chaplin Hill Road corridor to tackle congestion and improve safety.

This project has secured $54.3M in Federal grant funding to begin work and will include:
- New Diverging Diamond Interchange for better traffic flow
- Bridge replacements and roadway widening
- Expanded trail connections for better multimodal travel

A picture is worth a thousand words…

Please, be careful coming to the salon. Just pass the bus garage there is a massive pot hole that takes up the entire lane. It’s just beyond the sign saying “This road is not suitable for large trucks” But Thanks to all the dump trucks (that apparently don’t think they are LARGE) they are ruining our road. We need a weight limit on Chaplin Rd.
