Kinda chic to not have it figured out and post about anyway

I love watching this event grow every year, but one of my favorite parts is seeing the kids who keep coming back and getting to watch them grow year after year. 🥹 I truly never have a complaint about these kids. They are always so appreciative, so excited to be there, and sit so well for us.

I’m also so grateful for the girls I get to work alongside who help make this event what it is. We’re only a small salon, so it means so much to me that they’re willing to give their time to do something special for these kids. I couldn’t do any of this without them. 🥹♥️

And I can’t begin to thank EVERYONE who volunteered their time, donated, helped behind the scenes, or played any part in making the day happen. One of my favorite things about putting this together is watching other small businesses come together to support one another and give back to our community. We may all have our own businesses and our own crazy schedules, but when it comes to showing up for our community, people always find a way. That means more to me than I can put into words.

At the end of the day, it’s about so much more than just a haircut. It’s about making these kids feel special, giving them a little extra confidence, and getting them excited to walk into a new school year feeling good about themselves. ✂️📚

Seeing their smiles makes every bit of work that goes into this event worth it. I’m already excited to see how much it continues to grow. 🤍🫶🏻
