8 years ago (a couple days late, are we shocked?🤣) I opened my salon. I was looking through all of my photos to post and so many memories popped up while I looked through them. We’ve been through so much together - marriage, babies, health scares, moving away, 2020, an at home kitchen bang trim we have to fix😉, the list is endless. We’ve cried a lot together, we’ve laughed a lot together, we’ve been through loss together, we’ve broken up with your crappy boyfriend together, we’ve grown out bad haircuts together - it’s so much more than just a 6 week visit to the salon. I am so lucky to be able to do what I love, with YOU, clients who’ve become friends and family that I also love. I appreciate you keeping me in your budget through the years because I know hair appointments aren’t a *need* especially in hard times for everyone financially. I never thought when I was 19, starting out - working in the mall that I would be able to have my own salon one day and have clients that truly feel like family. I’ve had over 7,000 appointments that I’ve serviced and you are part of that. Thank y’all for putting up with me and I love y’all so much and happy 8 years to Southern Roots!🥂🎀 xo, wendy
