Brianna always kills it at hair!! 🔥😍 I love working with her, and she captured a great shot of the makeup with the hair!
The volume on those front pieces!!! 👌👌
When it comes to bridal hair, the smallest details often make the biggest impact ✨
A lot of updo inspiration photos focus on the back of the hairstyle, but I always pay close attention to the front. After all, those are the angles seen most throughout a wedding day. In the mirror while getting ready, in candid moments with your bridesmaids, walking down the aisle, and in so many of the photos you’ll look back on for years to come.
The goal is never just a beautiful hairstyle…it’s creating something that brings attention to the innate beauty of whoever is sitting in my chair 🤍

Bridesmaid in ‘23 ➡️ Bride in ‘26! (check out the last pic for her glowy look in 2023 😍✨)
I was obsessed with Ashton’s bridesmaid makeup I did in 2023, and even though some time had passed, Ashton thought of me first and investigated to find me & see if I could be her makeup artist again! I’m so glad it worked out ☺️
Ashton didn’t have a specific vision for her makeup look, she really trusted me! But she did like it glowy and semi natural looking. With her dress being so elegant and her wedding colors being pink, plus the natural pink tones in her skin, I suggested pulling more pinks into the look and making it a bit more glam to elevate the look with the dress and hair. I love how it all came together 🤩
Ashton has a great eye for design, and she’s also a budding flower shop owner & florist near Macomb, IL! 🌸💐 follow her!

Wait for the transformation… 😍😍
Sidney came to me without a vision for her bridal makeup, but she did like winged eyeliner, blush, and her freckles to show. She wanted to look special and glam, she LOVES makeup, but didn’t want to look over done. I love the result on her 🤩
If you look closely, you can still see her freckles, but her skin looks perfected 😍 that makes me so happy!! She has BEAUTIFUL skin, and didn’t need it “covered up”, but enhanced! ✨
This was from January 9th, my first wedding of the year ☺️🎉
Loving the getting ready space at the new Olive & Oak Venue!

You want to look naturally elevated, but you have rosacea? No problem 😏😉
I was so pumped when we finished and told her, “no one would ever know you have rosacea now!!” 😄🙌🏼
She was so elated 😍 I could instantly see her confidence shining!
She had dry, textured skin, along with the severe redness.
In order to pull this off I needed to keep her skin hydrated, but not dewy, and the coverage to be THIN to reduce the appearance of texture.
My secret weapon for this is the shape tape green color corrector! It’s pigmented, thin, and sets well without muddying the makeup applied on top! It’s a great way to balance out the skin tone before applying foundation so that I can keep the foundation as thin as possible and prevent a textured, dry, or “cakey” look!
I added in 2 bonus pictures from a recent wedding, showcasing beautifully healthy, radiant, and natural looking longwear makeup on aging redness-prone skin 😍💕
Once I learned how to do makeup well on aging skin, it’s become one of my favorite areas to shine in ☺️💖

UPDATE: I’m still here taking bookings!! Incase you thought I moved to San Diego 😅 Swipe to read more!
I never made a huge online announcement that I was moving because I didn’t want to create a lot of confusion with booking and just told people naturally as it came up.
There are MANY factors that played into deciding not to take the jump right now to move to California. The closer I got to the move, the more factors that came up to work out to make it make sense and enjoyable, not to just jump in and hope for the best/struggle through…. I wasn’t feeling excited about it and I had wise important people in my life saying they also felt uneasy about the move for me. I honestly had NO ONE telling me I couldn’t do it (that would’ve been good motivation though 🤣)— anything is possible and I had so many people encouraging me to go for it, but I ultimately wanted to follow what God is leading me to, and I feel that He has purposes for me to fulfill in Central Illinois still— and God is LIMITLESS, it doesn’t have to look one way— I can book work in California and try to flip how I originally was going to be traveling back home for bookings… there just are more options than only having to drop Illinois and jump into San Diego… I wanted God to tell me exactly what to do but it seemed He kept leaving things open.
I know I could’ve jumped for the move, but I think it would’ve been immensely more stressful than it has to be— now I have more freedom to create a better strategy to move in that direction— or elsewhere! San Diego will always be apart of my heart, but I know my goals and what I truly want can end up looking different than what we originally envision 😊🌴☀️⛰️🌊
