Just a little hair education. I felt like this explains the process well.

All of my blondes say they lift warm. Well let me fill you with some info so your not frustrated with your hair or stylist.
1️⃣Every brunette in this world was born with red/orange pigment in their hair!
2️⃣Every blonde is born with yellow/orange in their hair!
3️⃣Every level of hair has natural warm pigments. All of them are WARM. No one on this earth is born with ash pigments. Yes you can be a ash blonde but get lightner near it and it will expose that natural warm pigment.
4️⃣There are 10 levels of hair color. Black is level 1-platinum is level 10. If I put lightener on a level 1 and we watch that hair lift...you would literally see the natural warm pigments like the chart above. You would watch the hair go from red, red/orange,orange yellow/orange,yellow and pale yellow.
5️⃣stylist use a gloss/toner to help neutralize these tones. Gloss isn’t permanent color. So when it fades you will start to see your natural warmth. So at home care is super important in helping fight your natural warmth. Blue and purple shampoo. Blue and purple hair mask. Low heat for styling. Heat protectors. Hard water will mess up hair color. You can buy a nozzle attachment for your shower to remove hard water.
6️⃣Generally a session of lightening will get you 3-5 levels of lift if it’s done without pushing the hair. So say you start at a level 3. You lift to a 7. Look above at the chart and that is really brassy. If you come in at a level 5 and lift to a level 8, that raw lift is still pretty dang gold. The raw lift is ALWAYS WARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all! Just want to give a bit of a heads up to clients I have this week and maybe next week. I was bitten by one of our dogs as I was trying to break up a dog fight over the weekend. Thankfully it's on my left hand! But just keep in mind I might be a little slower washing. I will also be wearing a glove or something to protect my thumb. Thank you all and can't wait to you all! 💜

Just a reminder tomorrow starts my price increase. All services are going up 5-20$ depending on the service. And kids cuts are now going to be priced as adult cuts. If you have any questions please let me know. Thank you for your continued support all of these years! I appreciate you all!

Edited to add. I will also be implementing a cancelation/no show policy. Cancelations less than 24 hrs before your appointment will be a 50% fee and no shows will be a 100% fee of scheduled appointment. Fees need to be paid within 7 days of the original scheduled service date or all future appointments will be canceled. With my busy schedule I don't have much wiggle room most days and I usually have a wait list. I have these rules to set boundaries and keep my business running smoothly.
