It’s my Bloomiversary! 💐✨ 6 years since the day I opened Bloom Salon Collective!

I recently had the opportunity to share my salon’s story again with a couple of our clients for the first time. It’s interesting to look back on those early days of a fast and furious one month remodel of a space that I started out in back in 2007, to make it my own. Opening solo on March 2, 2020 for two weeks then closing down with the rest of my industry for a painful and weird 10 weeks. Because of the mandated closure, Kara’s start date moved from April 1 to June 1, but we stayed in touch with our clients and grew as a team in live video messages and so many emails… Abi chose to join us later that summer as regulations allowed us to bring capacity back up and we were complete! It was a wild time. Wildly beautiful even though it was wildly different (and more challenging) than I ever expected. We Bloomed anyway.

6 years (and a lot of life) later I am proud of the space I have created and the women who choose to run their businesses along side mine. I am grateful for the love, loyalty and support from our clients and community. You truly are the best part! 💐 💖

Kara is excited to introduce Nourish Nutrition at Bloom!

Recently Kara decided to follow her curiosity and passion in the direction of nutrition education. In May she received her Functional Nutrition Certification and we couldn’t be more proud of her!

Kara’s goal now is to blend her two passions together by offering nutrition support for hair and body. Beginning this month she will be offering a brand new service, Hair Analysis Epigenetic Testing through Cell Wellbeing.
