Us:

Because when you’re new, being late is a concern.
When you’re OG… being late is just part of your personality. 🤣
Years of service come with certain privileges. 😌

✨ ACOG Practice Bulletin #9: Cervical Ripening—What You Should Know
When an induction of labor is recommended, preparing the cervix can make a meaningful difference in the likelihood of a successful vaginal birth.
According to ACOG, cervical ripening may be recommended when the cervix is not yet favorable for labor. Options include both mechanical methods (such as a Foley or Cooks balloon) and medications (such as prostaglandins), with the best approach depending on each patient’s medical history, pregnancy, and personal preferences.

🤔 MYTH: once you start pit you can’t stop it!
🌟When your body truly kicks into active labor 💪you may no longer need additional oxytocin to achieve cervical dilation and you may turn down or off your Pitocin. Each labor is unique and individual. 🫶
✨Some require Pitocin through out and others don’t. Talk to your provider!
