Y'all..... today seems so unreal. I feel like maybe it's unreal. Anyway, tell me what yall think.

Just made a trip to the Wal-Mart and am so thankful I don't live in a bigger town/city. The people in Wal-Mart are crazy! I just needed a few things so didn't have to go all over the store. Most of the people are so rude! We're in alabama, what happened to southern hospitality??? Almost everybody knows everybody or their families here and it blows my mind how rude people are. I mean, I see you're on the phone but, that don't give you the right to act like you're so deep in your conversation that you don't see me!! You are looking directly at me and push your buggy into mine and hit someone. At least say "excuse me" even if you don't mean it! Sorry for the rant. Rude people just p**s me off!!

Thank God it's Friday!!!! I am so ready for the weekend!!!

Going to bed...it's 12:18 am here in alabama. What yall doing?

A couple of days late but..........

My baby ( my only child) moved to Pennsylvania from Alabama, with my daughter in law ( that's where she is from, Hailey Yob ) almost 2 years ago. He text me the other night wanting MY potato salad recipe!!! Y'all this made my mama heart so happy! I sent it to him and said if Hailey has any questions, y'all call. Y'all they facetimed me and we talked for the entire time they were making it. (They=him and Hailey)

It turned out so good! They were already making a mama's recipe, meat dish, that I taught her to cook a couple of years ago, its his favorite! To say my mama heart was so happy is an understatement!!!!

I love that Hailey has her mom and family and they still wanted my recipes!! I got off the phone and cried!!

Anyway said all of that to say this, no matter how old we are, we always are mama's babies! ( if you had a goos mama, some are not so great)

Hump day!!!! Halfway through the week!! What did yall cook for supper tonight??? We just had a frozen pizza and some wings. I would love some new ideas on supper. Getting burned out on our usual.

Wanted to share a proud mama moment with y'all, so my son, who moved to Pennsylvania from Alabama a year and a half ago, called tonight to ask me how I made my potato salad and meat dish. Meat dish is a inside family recipe from my mama. Anyway I talked him through the recipes and he said "mama it's so good! Not as good as yours but close enough!"

Yall I cried like a 2 year old! I love that my baby still wants to know how mama does things! I love love love his fiancé, but this made my mama heart proud! Learning to let them go is hard. But...... it makes you so proud when they ask your opinion or advice on something.

So...... after a long thought process and much debate we have decided on finger foods for supper. Bone in Buffalo wings, loaded potato skins, Hebrew national mini Corn dogs, mini tacos, and garlic bread sticks. What yall having? Give me some ideas!!

Made it through the week like...........so glad it's Friday!😆😆😆😆 seriously what's yalls plans for the weekend? We gone chill at the house and relax!
