Hey all. Just wanted to give a quick update. I'm officially back behind the chair working at Brush and Blade Salon in Mount Airy, NC. I know it's been a long minute and I'm sure life has taken you all around some turns and rocky terrains since the last time we've met just as it has done me. To my clients: I will not be returning to work until the threat of the pandemic is over. I hope you all stay safe and continue to exercise caution with this virus. My husband and I have had too many friends here locally fall ill with Covid-19 and, even though they’ve recovered, several are still suffering the after effects. My husband is very high risk and likely would not survive infection. Still, I continue to see people not following safety guidelines, which is why the numbers are steadily rising. I wish you all well. I’ll continue to keep y'all posted in the meantime.

To all my clients:
I know it's increasingly difficult in this disgustingly hot weather to have to endure your shaggy heads of hair. And I want to give you guys a heads up. I hope to return to work in August if all goes well. The girls at Karson & Ko. are working super hard to play catch up with their clients from the months we've been locked down, so please be aware it could take some time to get an appointment with any one of them. They're all talented and I adore them all. Just please understand that this virus is still waging war. Things are not 'business as usual' and there's only so many clients they can do at a time and in a day for safety precautions. Please stay safe out there. And I hope to see you all soon.
