I officially turned 25, which feels like the perfect time to talk about something we estheticians love, which is skin aging. Around your mid-20s, some of the processes that keep our skin looking plump, firm & glowy start to gradually slow down. Collagen production and cell turnover begin to decrease, and over time we can start to notice changes in hydration, elasticity and fine lines.
This is a reminder to start thinking more about prevention and taking care of the skin you’re in.
For me, that means:
🤍 Starting microneedling to stimulate collagen
🤍 Adding a retinol to support cell turnover + overall skin health
🤍 Wearing SPF DAILY
🤍 Adding an eye cream for some extra love around the eyes
