Born and raised in Lansing, I began my journey into the world of Cosmetology in August 2008 and was trained at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing.
Living with masses of impossibly frizzy and hard to control curls, I never truly felt beautiful, and that (along with artsy tendencies) led me into the field of beauty. It has become my goal to help others to embrace and learn to tame their own manes, and I am not happy unless you leave my chair feeling beautiful. As a young stylist, I love keeping up on what's going on in the beauty and fashion world and I am constantly educating myself, as well as attending various classes and trade shows, to stay on top of the latest trends. When it comes to the salon, I specialize in Aveda color and highlights, as well as taming those thick masses of hair like my own. There's an extra special place in my heart for curls (and keeping them under control!). I am truly in love with what I do and I would love to share that passion with you.
