In honor of America’s 250th birthday and Independence Day, Indulgence Salon And MediSpa will be closed on Saturday, July 4th as we celebrate this special milestone with our families and loved ones.

We are incredibly grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and for each and every one of our wonderful clients who continue to support our salon. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives.

Let me start by saying, Thank you to the person that turned in my friend and coworker Terry to State Board of Cosmetology. What you did set the standard of us wanting to make a change in the industry that I respect, love and have been in for over 3 decades.

Sometimes challenges lead to positive change for so many people and with that being said…

Terry and I Had a rare opportunity to go to the legislation and speak about this matter and we are incredibly excited, proud and very blessed to share that House Bill 2530 is now a law Terry and I worked hard to get passed in the state of Tennessee that officially allows anyone to apply makeup without a cosmetology license and be compensated for their work. We watched this Bill go through every stage of the legislation. Passing committee after committee and prayed the whole time.

Thank you to Megan Condon , Beauty Not Barriers, Kamyrn Moe and Senator Johnson who was the sponsor of the bill and to everyone else who helped us, you will never be forgotten.

I believe this career should have very strict rules but this is unnecessary for someone to spend $15,000 or more and attend 750 hours just to apply makeup. This change opens doors for countless talented individuals who have a passion for applying makeup but may not have had the financial ability nor the time to attend cosmetology school for a service that does not alter, nor damage the skin in anyway. Makeup is sold everywhere, used daily by millions, sold in drugstores, too high end department stores and now Tennessee law finally reflects that reality.

I have always believed in helping people however I can — whether it’s my team, customers, or someone simply trying to make an honest living doing what they love. To know that we helped create positive change for so many people across Tennessee is something I’m truly proud of.
This is a win for artists, small businesses, freedom of opportunity, and the beauty industry as a whole.

I’m especially proud of Terry. She deserves this and worked incredibly hard for this.🙏🏻❤️

Hey everyone! With Summer now in full swing and children out of school, we would like to revisit our children’s policy at Indulgence. We have and will always care for our client’s families, and we are always happy to help with your family’s hair needs. However, we please ask that childcare arrangements are made when they are not in the salon to be serviced.
Unaccompanied children can be a distraction and a disturbance to not only your service provider, but also other clients receiving hair services. For any children receiving hair services, we do ask that you make sure they do not play with any equipment as they can get hurt.
We want to keep Indulgence free from any outside stress and make sure your experience is a pleasant one. Thank you for your understanding! ❤️
