Forty taught me how to survive myself. šŸ’ŖšŸ¾
How to sit with uncertainty without abandoning who I am.

How to stop shrinking to fit rooms I was called to transform.

There was grief in this past year.
Healing too.
A quiet unraveling.
A sacred reconstruction.

And somewhere between ambition, heartbreak, business, softness, exhaustion, beauty, faith, and reinvention…
I found her.

Not the woman I was pretending to be.
The woman I was becoming all along.
So no… I don’t enter 41 loudly.

I enter deeply.
More grounded.
More discerning.
More romantic about my life.
More protective of my peace.
More honest about my desires.

This chapter doesn’t feel like a performance.
It feels like alignment.šŸ•ÆļøšŸ™ŒšŸ¾
Welcome, 41. šŸ¤ŽšŸ’«

12 years. šŸ¤Ž

From 6 inches to 3 1/2 feet of thick, healthy locs… this journey has been nothing short of intentional artistry.
At a time when I had stepped away from servicing locs and male clients, he was the exception. An anomaly. The kind of client that reminded me why alignment matters more than quantity.

Hair this long and this dense doesn’t happen by accident. Neither does taking black hair to blonde while preserving its integrity. My level of excellence begins long before the appointment — studying formulas, preparing treatments, protecting the foundation, and honoring the health of every strand.

These locs are more than hair to me. They are a reflection of patience, trust, consistency, and the love I pour into my craft behind the scenes.

All angles! It doesn’t matter where you sit at work, church or restaurant I want your hair to look good from all sides!

My clients, especially those with color tell me the stories about their compliments and meeting with other women. It’s usually ā€œ OMG, I love your hairā€ !

I wish I had more time to reopen my schedule for new clients. Right now, the focus is still eating from the plate that already full and trying to share the overflow with other stylists by way of āž”ļø

I think I’m falling in love with short hair. It’s so easy & can added some youthfulness to your look.

When I curate a look for my clients we consider time, wardrobe, budget and hair health. I want their color & style to compliment every area of thier life.

All Stylist & Barbers can’t cut!

Here me out .....we are trained in school to do multiple types of haircutting using shears & razors ( clippers too depending on the license type) but not every beauty professional fully grasps the special skill of haircutting.

Some beauty professionals learn enough to past the test but it’s those people who continue practicing to master the art of haircutting that truly shine with in this space.

I can’t say that I can do ALL barber cuts but l know my way around the clippers to give my clients a precise cut that compliments their style & hair goals!

Rest Is Part of the RitualāœØšŸ«¶šŸ½

From May 1–13, I’ll be stepping away from behind the chair to honor my healing, protect my peace, and restore my energy. ✨

As much as I love pouring into every guest who sits in my chair, this season is reminding me that I deserve the same care, softness, and intentional love I so freely give to others. šŸ¤Ž

I’ll be spending this time reconnecting with myself through rest, reflection, and my personal Revive Ritual using my luxury shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, and beauty oil as I prepare to enter a new chapter of life. On May 11, I turn 41, and I want to walk into this season lighter, renewed, and aligned with purpose. šŸ«¶šŸ½ā

Thank you for always supporting the woman behind the brand and allowing me the grace to pause.

Retail orders will resume shipping beginning May 14.

At every salon visit I’m teaching my clients something new about how to care for their hair. It doesn’t matter if they’re a silk press natural, a die hard texture natural, or a client who enjoys a luxury of having both.

It is important for me to help them understand what style options and hair care products are needed to support their hair care goals.
