Let’s talk about what’s normal when starting a new retinol!👇🏼
I recently started using a stronger retinol and am experiencing what we like to call an “anticipated reaction.” When you start a strong retinol or tretinoin, it is completely normal to get some peeling, redness, dryness, and sensitivity in the skin. Retinoids speed up the cell turnover process and it takes a while for your skin to get used to the faster turnover! I recommend starting a retinol product 2-3 nights per week and working your way up to every night or every other night, as tolerated. Consistency is key! The more you start and stop using the product, the longer it’s going to take your skin to acclimate. Stick it out because the results are soooo worth it!🤩

Consistency is KEY! You don’t need to use a million products, but if you do a few things CONSISTENTLY I promise you will see results!! Just trust me. 😘
