I started doing hair in my mom's shop in Oxford, Michigan, thirty-six years ago, and I've worked at Grondin's Hair Center in the Oxford/Lake Orion area for the last twenty-two years. Here’s what we offer:
-Average stylists earn $20-$30 per hour.
-Over 80% of our stylists meet their goals and receive a service bonus each pay period.
-Our stylists take 100% of their tips home every day.
-We pay up to 20% commission on retail sales.
-Paid vacation for full-time and part-time employees after one year of employment
-You’ll have every Sunday off.
-We offer a $300 bonus for new hires after 90 days of employment.
-We use Pravana hair color, and you will be trained on it in-house.
-We take appointments and have consistent walk-in traffic. If you’re new to the area or just out of school, you’ll be able to build a solid book of repeat business.
-We have insurance options that you can participate in if needed.
-We always try to promote from within the company.
-Partnership salons are available if you're interested in owning a salon.
-Our salon managers receive a quarterly bonus that includes 1% of the salon’s gross sales and 10% of all sales over the previous year.
