Hi, I’m Kate — CRNA, certified aesthetic injector, wife, mom of 3, and self-proclaimed DIY enthusiast. 😂

I’ve been part of the Soulshine family for the past couple of years, and I’m SO excited to officially be the Lead Injector at our new James Island location.🥂

My approach to aesthetics is pretty simple: natural-looking results, regenerative treatments, and intentional plans made for the person sitting in front of me — not whatever treatment happens to be trending that week.

I want my patients to look and feel like the best version of themselves, and I’m always grateful to get to be a small part of that journey.

You can’t out-fill laxity.

And this is a perfect example of why treatment order matters. ✨

She already has beautiful facial structure and honestly only mild laxity. The goal wasn’t to change her face—it was to preserve what she already has, subtly improve support, and help her age better over time.

This is just ONE WEEK after treatment, so we’re really only getting started.

What we did:
✨ Full lower-face Ultherapy Prime + brow lift
✨ ONE syringe of undiluted Radiesse for strategic medial + lateral cheek support, chin projection, and to soften the pre-jowl + mental shadow transition

That’s it.

The goal wasn’t to add volume everywhere. It was to create better support in the right places while her Ultherapy continues the tightening and remodeling process over the next several months.

Could we have added a little Belotero Volume for even more contour? Absolutely.

But she had already invested in tightening + structural support, so we were thoughtful with both product and budget. We can always reassess later rather than adding something simply because we can.

Because when laxity is part of what you’re seeing, more filler doesn’t fix the whole picture.

So yes, there’s an immediate improvement here—but we’re also building the result we want six months from now.

Less volume. Better sequencing. Better aging. 🤍

Facial balancing isn’t just balancing features with filler. It’s balancing how we treat aging across the face.

One-week result. Ultherapy results continue to develop gradually over time.

Facial balancing can be subtle and still incredibly impactful.

She naturally has a stronger, more squared lower face with a defined jawline and masseter. Rather than adding more structure there, the goal was to create better visual balance by thoughtfully supporting the mid and upper face.

We used one syringe of Belotero Volume through the midface—lateral zygoma, deep cheek and pyriform—to create a softer, more heart-shaped contour, improve the cheek vector and soften the under-eye shadow without creating unnecessary fullness.

Then one syringe of hyperdiluted Radiesse was used through the temples, mild preauricular hollowing and the shadowing beside the corners of the mouth/lateral chin—areas where we wanted subtle correction plus the regenerative benefits of a biostimulator.

Two different injectables. Two very different jobs.

And the bonus? This isn’t her final result. She still has about another 5 weeks of collagen remodeling and improvement ahead from her biostimulator.

This is exactly the idea behind our September Restore + Renew treatment: knowing when HA makes sense, when a biostimulator makes sense, and when patience is part of the plan.

So many people are hesitant about injectables because they’re afraid of looking injected. But injectables themselves aren’t the problem. It’s understanding where, why and how much—and allowing them to do their job without letting them overshadow you.
