Will my hair grow back thicker or darker after dermaplaning?

This is a common misconception, but NO - dermaplaning does not change the type of hair or impact the hair follicle so it is impossible for the hair to grow back thicker or darker.

Dermaplaning gently removes the top layers of dead skin and peach fuzz (vellus hair)

This is a gentle form of exfoliation with the added benefit of peach fuzz removal.
