Hello to all of my wonderful clients!

Boy oh boy have I missed each and every one of you! It has been quite the road for my family. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your understanding. I thank those of you who have blessed us with words of encouragement, meals, gifts and prayer! Your generosity and care was humbling and something I will be forever grateful for! You are genuinely the best and I am so very thankful for each of you!

As most of you know, pregnancy, delivery, and bringing our sweet boy home did not go as planned. I’m thankful that we are finally home and trying to find our new rhythm. Life at home with 3 boys that have special needs has been, hard (is a major understatement) but we are making it each day and I am blessed to be their mama! As we look at McCartney’s current needs and weekly appointments I am not 100% sure when I will get back to my regular work week but I am eager for that day! I’m hoping to be back full swing this fall before the Holiday season to make everyone fresh and ready to celebrate. I will keep you all up to date on this timeframe if it will be possible.

I know due to my absence many of you have been seeing the girls I recommended or have gone elsewhere with your hair needs. As I look at what returning to work looks like, it would be helpful to know who plans on returning to me as a client. This will help me better plan for childcare needs and how many days I will open my schedule for when the time is right. I know due to the circumstances of my life not everyone will be returning as my clients and I fully respect that decision, no hard feelings at all. With that said, I’d love to serve you again and I hope to see you in my chair soon, mainly because I miss you but also because going from two incomes to one has been a challenge. I do not take your trust in allowing me to take care of you lightly at all. Pregnancy update and future scheduling

Hello to all my wonderful and amazing clients!

As most of you are aware, Nathan and I found out late this summer we were miraculously expecting a baby boy (McCartney John Mansell) due May 20th, 2021. This pregnancy since the beginning has been beyond trying and left me with debilitating sickness most days. On Tuesday I found myself admitted into MUSC for severe pre-eclampsia. It has been a very trying and scary few days. Last night, Sunday, at 9:24, McCartney entered the world via C-section. He is doing well breathing on a ventilator in the NICU and I am being closely monitored for high blood pressure. We are also posting to social media as we can but the Caring Bridge site is your most accurate place for updates and ways to help and pray.

Ok, so now what does this mean for your hair appointments moving forward?? Thankfully, with my being so sick I had already begun to put people in place to help carry my work load. I have hired an assistant stylist, Carson Boozer, to help manage the majority of my client list. She will be working out of my salon studio space beginning March 1st. All of your pre booked appointments will now be void sadly. You can text her at 843-345-2838 and she will get you scheduled right away and pre-book all upcoming appointments out until I am able to return to work, which at this point is still an unknown. As far as payment goes moving forward it would be ideal for you to pay via Venmo -Mansell or Paypal hilarymansell. If you prefer card she will have the ability to do that for you as well. Cash tips for Carson would also be appreciated during this time. If your schedule does not align with Carson or would prefer to see some one else here is a list of names of other very talented stylists who are more then happy to be helping me make sure all of my amazing clients needs are met durning this very unexpected time. Salons to reopen on May 18, 2020!!!

Hello to all my wonderful clients!
Thank you so much for your support and understanding during this trying season. I’m so blessed to have supportive clients like you! I wanted to let everyone know that the governor as issued the reopening of salons to begin on Monday May 18th. As a reminder for rescheduling purposes I will work backwards from when I had to close the last week of March. I will work my way through each week and rebook everyone in the order of those who I had to cancel due to COVID19. If you do not hear from me today or tomorrow please reach out. I am having to communicate with a lot of people and I do not want people to get lost in the shuffle. Please be patient with me to respond as I manage a heavy work contact load and the boys.
My promise to you is that I will do my best to get you in as soon as I can. I have called in reinforcements for care of the boys and will extend hours to make this happen. As of now, any appointments booked for this summer will still stand. I have froze all all online booking so that I can manage my schedule best to accommodate everyone.
Please be patient as I work through scheduling everyone and please do your best to be as flexible as you can. I know all of our schedules are hectic right now, so your flexibility is appreciated! If your scheduled appointments CAN be flexible, please let me know.
Now that I am able to reopen I assure you I will follow CDC guidelines and very strict sanitation policies to ensure both your safety and mine. The governor has put many guidelines into place and I will be sure to follow them.

Mama needed some color!! After 10+ months with no color I couldn’t wait anther day! Don’t try this at home people! I did a balayage, root smudge and gloss. The before and after are amazing. I owe the difference in my hair to MONAT products! I mean the picture speaks for itself. The products are amazing!!

I want to thank each and everyone of my clients for your loyalty to me over the years. Thank you for trusting me with your hair service needs.
