Why does your wax hurt more some days than others? Your skin changes constantly, which means your sensitivity does too. A few common reasons your wax might feel a little extra spicy:

• Hormones / Your Cycle
Right before or during your period, skin tends to be more sensitive because of hormonal shifts and inflammation levels.

• Sun Exposure
Freshly sunburnt or overheated skin is already irritated, which makes waxing feel much more intense.

• Alcohol & Caffeine
Both can heighten sensitivity and make your nervous system feel a little more reactive during your service.
