I have a couple appointments left the week of January 22nd-26th before I am out of the salon for a week!! Come see Shear Advantage one last time and then the transition over to Salon Elevate begins. I hope everyone is staying safe and warm

📣📣Just to clear up a little bit of confusion, Dick and Teresa Mertens do NOT own the building and haven’t since 2018. The closing of the salon has nothing to do with them and we still have a great relationship. Some questions have been circulating about this and we do not want any negativity towards the Mertens.
A couple of other things, the salon phone number will no longer be in service at the end of the month. You’ll need to contact your stylist directly for booking.

Please read through to the end.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of The Shear Advantage as we know it. After months of failed negotiations on the rent for the building we have no choice but to leave.
But don’t worry, we are very much sticking with our careers and continuing on with great things to come!!!
Mariah is continuing her business with the opening of Salon Elevate.
And Jen is continuing hers with the opening of Wild Roots Salon.
Stay tuned for more information on locations of these businesses.
The last day of operation at The Shear Advantage is January 31, 2024. All gift certificates with each stylist are still valid with that particular stylist in their new location.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!! We are very excited for these new opportunities. And can’t wait to take you along on these new endeavors.
