🖤 A New Chapter for Black Lotus Massage & Wellness 🖤

I wanted to personally share an important update with you all. Black Lotus Massage & Wellness will be moving to a new location in Mount Pleasant in the future. This was a really thoughtful and emotional decision for me: one that allows me to be closer to my kids and better supported so I can continue showing up as the best massage therapist possible.

I will continue taking appointments at the current location while I lovingly transform the new space into the same cozy, grounding, and nurturing Black Lotus experience you know and love. The new studio will be right off I-94 in Mount Pleasant, making it an easy drive for many of you.

I’m also excited to share that the new building is home to an amazing chiropractor offering dry needling, opening the door for even more supportive, integrative care alongside massage. More to come on this!

I also want to reassure everyone that all previously purchased gift cards will absolutely be honored whether at the current location or the new Mount Pleasant studio.

As a thank-you to those who have supported Black Lotus along the way, all current clients will receive early access to the schedule for preferred days and times before any new clients when the new location opens.

I will continue to share updates on timelines and progress along the way. For now, I am still here in Hales Corners and look forward to seeing you all!

Today a client asked me why I chose the name Black Lotus Massage & Wellness. I thought I’d share my “why.”

When creating my business, it was important to me to choose a name that felt unique and something that blended both feminine and masculine energy since I love working with both women and men.

🖤 Black is my favorite color—bold, grounding, and strong.
🌸 Lotus is a beautiful flower that I love, one that grows out of the mud and reminds us that even in dark times, we can rise, shine, and grow.

Black Lotus is about honoring every part of ourselves. Sometimes that means showing compassion when we don’t love what we see in the mirror, or celebrating progress when we finally reach a new milestone in movement or flexibility. Both the struggles and the triumphs matter—because just like the lotus, growth comes from both mud and light.

Together, “Black Lotus” symbolizes resilience, balance, and transformation—the heart behind every massage experience I offer.

My hope is that everyone who enters this studio feels this.
