The Party Nail Story

I was always intrigued by nail salons and having my nails done, but it was always a hit or miss experience. I was always sure that “if this was my salon, I would” this or that. After spending over a decade working in e-commerce with hotels helping them to grow their business and maximize their revenue, that nail salon dream never subsided. In fact working in hospitality only magnified that aspiration.

4 years ago, after a very daunting careless experience during one of my nail salon retreats, is when I put my (pedicured) foot down. It was time. I set out and purchased a starter nail kit from Amazon a little before the New Year. I called it my New Year’s resolution and set myself a 5-year goal to have my own nail salon.

I am self-taught, which required tireless hours of practice and endless hours of research, including time sacrificed away from my extremely supportive son and devoted partner, as my nail passion grew larger and stronger with time. Now, here we have arrived, a little under the 5-year goal mark.

If there is anything life has taught me is that if you can dream it, you can do it. When someone has doubted you, consider it a threat and act on it. Challenge yourself to be better than YOU. Stay focused, head strong, looking straight ahead poised and hungry. Keep them guessing while you keep grinding.
