Nicole's Style Diaries

So small victories but there is now a door.. and I thought I had ordered special latches but apparently I didn't so those will be coming and trim needs to get added but this rain is supposed to go on every single day for the next week..
I feel like it would have been smarter to build an Ark then a chicken coop but this chicken coop is going to be so Charming! 🤣

Building this Cedar Arched Dutch door. It's going to be so pretty!
glued and clamped all the cedar boards down to my plywood arch and then I am pin nailing them in to give them extra support but keep it pretty where you can't see any nails or screws on the face.
I'll sand it and stain it once everything is dry.

Yesterday's update and a few pics at the end. Of COURSE the rain stopped us again! But we are doing amazing! Almost done!!

Its all about balance 🤣

Chicken coop update.. so close to done!
Here's my little tour 😍

chicken coop update for yesterday. I worked 9 hours & came home and built this awesome door. I made all the cuts. Nick assembled. I stapled hardware cloth. Team work. Hahaha..

Outfit. .

Ok you can tell I am beyond tired .. I have been going non stop since 6am but here's the update ..
And check out the cute little automatic chicken door 😍

Yesterday's outfit..

Okay this was yesterday's update didn't film one today because I was working so hard that I didn't even pull my phone out.
Roof is finished on the chicken run and we just have to build 5 doors. We are doing saloon doors inside.. once I post all the finished pictures you will see the reason why there are so many doors because it sounds crazy.
And it looks like another week of rain
It almost feels like a joke at this point 🤣
