5 Years Straight!!! Chris with Rattlesnake Barbering Co. has donated to Mountain Home Bomber Football. This year he gave (4) $25 gift certificates to be auctioned off Aug 15. Thanks for your support.

Here is the link to the walk in queue. Basically, you are a walk in but you don't have to wait at the shop. Seems to be some nervousness about the queue but Sport Clips and Great Clips run their thousands of locations with a similar system. It will be fine!

There is also a Sign In Button on the page and the link is also on the website.

Going to roll the dice on Tuesday with it. There will be no queue parking, meaning no signing up when queue opens knowing you won't be arriving until late in the day. The whole point is to calculate accurate wait times.

When you check in, you will receive a text message showing your place in line. It will update as the queue moves along.

The online queue will start on Tuesday, July 14 at 11 am. There will be a link and a QR code on the website, https://rattlesnakebarber.com/ under the Mountain Home location tab.

This will be a roll out with the queue. There are appointments booked through mid-August and I'm not patient enough to wait to clear all the appointments. The queue will be open around the appointment times and for now will not be available on Wednesdays.

My goal is to roll this out as smoothly as possible, but hiccups are inevitable. We will just have to work the kinks out together!

Changes to Chris' Schedule.

Vacation from Aug 22 to Sept 2.

I have already started discussing this in the shop but I will be phasing out appointments with me over the next couple of months. Instead, I will be using a daily online queueing system which you can check into for that day. It will tell you how many people are in the queue and when to arrive.

I may do one day of appointments but that day will either be booked same day or a couple of days ahead. Booking out will longer be an option.

This will be a roll out process until I can determine what works best. My hours and days will also be adjusted.

Age 61 came fast and while I have no desire to retire, I want to work the next few years not tied to a fully booked calendar. Spontaneity is the key now.

If you require appointments, I can recommend another barber in the shop and will work with him on getting the same cut you have been getting.

I did a lot of internal debate to come to this decision, it wasn't easy and this will come with challenges.

Who knows, maybe it will end up being easier to get in!

First year of Viola is in the books and was a success! Just have to keep the momentum going!

Tomorrow marks our first year in business! I truly want to thank all those that made this possible. Always scary starting a new venture, but this awesome community embraced this shop and made it successful. Looking forward to many years to come.

Our Viola shop is growing!

With a little configuring, I could add to the Mountain Home Shop. Always looking!
