⚡ Okay… but what exactly IS microcurrent?

Microcurrent has always been one of my FAVORITE modalities in esthetics, and now I finally get to offer it at Neoteric! 🧬 This is using the Andrinox 2.0 from Zemits Aesthetic Community

It uses gentle, low-level electrical current with specialized techniques including lymphatic drainage, muscle relaxation + stimulation to support a more lifted, toned & defined appearance.

One treatment is a great introduction, but consistency matters. For progressive results, I typically recommend a series of 6–10 treatments followed by maintenance.

You can now book a full Microcurrent Lift Treatment or Lift Facial, OR add targeted microcurrent to select facials for the brow, jawline + lower face, or neck.

I have openings next week if you’re ready to try one of my longtime favorites. 👀⚡

Microcurrent isn’t appropriate for everyone; suitability will be confirmed prior to treatment.

🤍 A Neoteric Day Spa Update

Friends, I have an important business update to share.

For the past three years, I’ve worked hard to keep my pricing as reasonable as possible while continuing to invest in professional products, advanced equipment, education, and the quality of care I want every client to receive.

After reviewing the true cost of providing each service—and running a small business—I realized some pricing has been unsustainably low for quite some time. Wholesale costs alone have increased by 5.4% over the past 12 months, reaching a peak increase of 5.9% in May of this year.

Beginning September 28, 2026, Neoteric Day Spa will have an updated service menu and select pricing adjustments.

This will not be a blanket increase. I’ve reviewed each service individually, considering treatment time, products, supplies, equipment, overhead, and everything involved in providing your appointment.

I’m also taking this opportunity to simplify the booking menu, introduce new treatments, and make it easier to choose the facial or service that’s right for you. 🧬✨

In the future, I’m considering membership options while continuing to offer a 15% discount for first responders and their spouses, along with referral discounts, as a thank-you for your support.

Being a solo small-business owner means constantly learning—not only about skin, but also accounting, inventory, taxes, marketing, equipment maintenance, and about 47 other jobs I didn’t realize I was signing up for. 😅

These changes will help me continue serving you with the products, services, and experience I’m proud to provide while keeping Neoteric current, sustainable, and ready for the future.

Fun fact: Cloudy weather doesn’t mean you’re protected from UV. ☁️ Thin and broken clouds can allow a surprising amount of UV radiation through, and under certain cloud conditions, UV levels at the surface can even be enhanced.

And here’s something that surprises people: cloudy Washington State still has a melanoma incidence rate above the national average. 👀

That’s why I preach SPF rain or shine—not because every cloudy day exposes you to more UV, but because clouds are not sunscreen. 😂
