Hey y'all! It's been a while since I've posted — I've been busy getting back into the swing of things and getting used to doing hair again post-surgery.

Thank you to everyone who's been so patient and sweet with me, it means everything! 🫶

After almost 2 weeks of recovering from surgery, I'm finally ready to come back behind the chair! 🧡

Thank you all SO much for your sweet messages, prayers, and patience while I've been healing — it meant the world to me.

I'm slowly working my way back and I have 30+ beautiful clients to get rescheduled first. So please be patient with me as I get everyone taken care of!

As many of you know, I've been out of the salon — possible return date Sept 22nd

I have started a list and it IS adding up! 📝 I’m going through it and seeing what I can manage when I ease back in, and I WILL get back to everyone on that list as soon as I’m ready to go.

I want to make sure I’m 100% ready for you when you’re in my chair.

*Surgery Update 🤍*

I made it out of surgery just fine! Thank you for all the prayers, texts, and love.

I’ve been resting all day today snuggled up with my fur babes, and that’s exactly what I’ll be doing for a bit.

If you reach out to get an appointment, please be patient and respectful — I am resting during this time. Not only from surgery, but from the physical and mental parts of this career too.

Please know I’m not going anywhere. I love this career and I love all of you. I will get back to you when the time is appropriate for me.

Thank you for understanding and for giving me the space to heal properly so I can come back and give you my best.

*That’s a wrap — my last day before surgery 🤍*

Today was my last day in the salon until September 22nd. Thank you so much for keeping me so busy and for all the love this week.

Tomorrow is surgery day — getting my carpal tunnel fixed. I’m nervous but honestly so excited to get this taken care of so I can continue this career that I love for many more years.

My hands are my livelihood and I’m ready to have them pain-free again.

I’ll see you all when I’m back on the 22nd! Please keep me in your thoughts tomorrow.

This is why I love what I do.

I love when I get that text right after an appointment: _“Hey, can you send me that picture you took?! I absolutely love it!”_

And today I had a mama who told me she hasn’t had her hair cut in a _long_ time. She was super nervous, almost scared to do it. But she trusted me, we did it, and by the end she was beaming. Thanking me over and over for making her feel like herself again.

Those moments. That feeling. That’s everything to me. And brings meaning again to make people feel good

Thank you for trusting me with your hair and for letting me be a small part of making you feel beautiful. My heart is so full.
