A little deep clean on a teen boy and got him started on some at home skincare to maintain .

A little skin update for my girl Brandi🤯.
5 months of a custom treatment plan that works for her skin. She has trusted the process and is getting great results. We have done a combination of hybrid peels, level 1 peels and dermaplaning. She also has been super religious with her SPF.

Low & slow and still getting that pigment broken up💪🏻

We have been doing hybrid treatments since November. We chose this treatment plan because she doesn’t want the scary “peeling” and she has more of a sensitive skin type. You can still get results without the dreaded peeling or pain.

Melasma is such a hard beast to conquer. It will alway be a battle, but there are ways for controlling the damage and maintaining. Melasma is known as the pregnancy mask, because hormones surges during can bring it to the surface. (not every pregnancy) other factors that can cause Melasma is inflammation in the skin. I.e sun exposure, hot tubs/ saunas, internal factors.
Things to help is to keep the skin cool while in the sun. Use hats, stay in the shade and ice the face and of course use mineral SPF.
Also doing gentle treatments will help reverse damage and using good skincare.
