Watching these little goats stumble and play together, I’m reminded of childhood: shared secrets, quiet moments, and endless mischief. No matter how far we grow or how different our paths, those first bonds shape us forever. Siblings, whether goat or human, are eternal. 🤍🌾

🌼 Yellow jessamine (Gelsemium sempervirens) is a vigorous, evergreen, twining vine native to the southeastern U.S., known for its fragrant, trumpet-shaped yellow flowers that bloom in late winter/early spring, making it a popular choice for arbors, fences, and groundcover. It's also the state flower of South Carolina! 🌾

Some mornings on the farm start before the sun even thinks about rising. The goats are already calling for breakfast, the pigs are arguing over who gets the best spot at the trough, and the goose has appointed itself the official supervisor of everything. By the time the coffee’s ready, there are dogs at your feet, cats weaving through your legs, and the quiet hum of a place that’s very much alive.

Life here isn’t quiet or perfectly tidy — it’s muddy boots, loud mornings, and animals with bigger personalities than most people. But there’s something about it. The chaos, the laughter, the rhythm of chores and fresh air and creatures that depend on you.

Some people would call it a lot.
