One year ago today, we started the full renovation of our salon. One year ago today, we also unexpectedly lost a cherished family member. My grandmother. My best friend. My biggest fan.

Seeing my nanny’s name and likeness lit up and large on our sign every day I come to work is inexpressable. It heals my heart, one microscopic piece at a time.
