Let’s talk about . This is quite an underrated indie brand, and more people should be talking about it. I know there are literally thousands of brands out there... but I’ve made it my job (along with my friend ) to find these smaller brands and put them in front of your eyes 👀!

I bought her discovery set last year, and I believe I talked about at least one of her perfumes back then. For whatever reason, I only have samples for these two left. So, I decided to dust off the samples (being dramatic with that - I’ve had them set to the side for weeks to review) and smell them once again.

Lola is on my list of TO BUY fragrances. She is sexy, dirty, and leathery. It’s not your typical gal.

Siva is sweet and cute, but she hides her dirty side. She acts like the girl next door, but she isn’t.

And I’m purposely not sharing the notes so that you have to go to her website and find out what they are... and then perhaps grab a discovery set!

Also, jumping on that super cute trend where people make a carrousel and break down the fragrances!! I’m obsessed with those so why not make my own!!

The Drop Dead/Rock Shop • Words & Music 2.0 is this Sunday, February 2nd from noon til 5pm at the historic Thornton Distilling! It’s going to be a beautiful day to check out some great music & vendors and an amazing Drop Dead cocktail.

~It’s that time of year again! My Tuberose is in full bloom! I grow tuberose in my garden for the soul purpose to bring it in to scent my home. It continues to emanate perfume long after it has been cut. Just a few stems will scent the entire room with its intense gorgeous honeyed floral notes.
Tuberose (along with ylang ylang) is the main floral in my tropical perfume Siva!

~My last workshop of the summer! I hope you can join me at Thornton Distilling Co., Illinois’ oldest standing brewery, built in 1857! Come make yourself your own bespoke scent (or a something special for someone else). I’ll have a gorgeous pallet of natural essences for you to work with. ~I can’t get enough of Violeta this spring! She smells just like the stunning violet flowers I smelled last spring in Sedona. The dainty purple violets growing out of the damp Sedona red clay looks and smells amazing!

~Literally happening right now in my garden! My gorgeous David Austin rose ‘the poet’s wife’ is exploding with blooms. One of the most fragrant flowers in my garden - with its round, apricot & lemony fruity notes. It’s a repeat bloomer so I’ll have these beauties throughout the summer! 💫

~I’m soooo excited to be teaching a few workshops this summer at Thornton Distilling Co., Illinois’ oldest standing brewery, built in 1857! There are 3 dates available to choose from.
