Business update: New Hours 🗓️⏰
I know this is long overdue but sometimes it takes a minute to accept that you are in a different season of life. Over the past year I've had several life altering situations arise that require more and more of my time and attention. When I began my hair career and building my business it truly was my passion and my priority, and I got so much fulfillment from building a business that helped people and the community, not just a place to do haircuts. I'm so grateful to each and every person who has trusted me with not just their hair, but letting me be a part of entire life transitions. I'm so glad I could create a safe and nurturing place for that. 💜🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈💚
Life is calling me to prioritize other things right now though. It has taken a toll on my mental and physical health to keep trying to function at the current pace that I have been, it's simply not sustainable. I'm in the business of being human and being courageous enough to be vulnerable and transparent, and I'm struggling. I will be cutting my schedule back to part time hours for now. I will not be taking any color appointments past 1pm through the week and my latest haircut appointment will be 2:30 pm. I will also be looking to do less involved color services and won't be taking on as many vivids for now. I have several recommendations for talented safe stylists to take care of you in the meantime! I know there will be time in the future to dive back into this career and thrive creatively again, but I have to slow down right now if I don't want to burn every ounce of that out of me first.
