One year ago, I made a conscious choice to cut out alcohol—not because I had to, but because I wanted to see what I was truly capable of without it.
As a stylist, my days are filled with high energy, constant conversation, and pouring my creativity into others. I realized that to give my best, I needed to feel my best. This year has been the ultimate “mental gym.” Trading the social habits for deeper inner work and health-focused commitments hasn’t always been the “easy” path during tough times, but it’s been the most rewarding one.
What I’ve learned:
• True resilience comes from sitting with your stress, not masking it.
• Mental clarity is the best tool in my kit.
• Self-growth happens when you challenge your “normal.”
