Sheena Surgery Update #2

We are so thankful to share a wonderful update on Sheena.

Her surgery went great, and she has not experienced any pain. She had her follow-up appointment on Friday, January 30, where her stitches were removed. Even better news — her pathology report came back showing that the surgery successfully removed all of the cancer, which was identified as a Low-Grade Fibromyxoid Sarcoma.

As an added precaution, her tissue is being sent off again for further testing. Sheena will return to the doctor in six weeks for another follow-up.

This week, Sheena will slowly return to the salon, taking it one day at a time and one appointment at a time as she continues to heal.

Sheena would like to thank everyone from the bottom of her heart for the prayers, well wishes, donations, and overwhelming support she has received. Every message, every prayer, and every act of kindness has meant more than words can express.

Thank you for continuing to walk alongside her on this journey. 💗

Update: Surgery Complete 💛

We are happy to share that Sheena’s surgery is complete and was successful. The doctors were able to remove the cancer while preserving as much bone as possible, which is such a blessing and answered prayer.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, and prayed for Sheena. Your generosity and continued prayers mean more than words can express and have lifted her up during this difficult time.

Please continue to keep Sheena in your prayers as she heals and prepares for the next steps. We are so grateful for this amazing community and your ongoing support.

❤️

Emergency Help for Sheena’s
Surgery & Recovery.

Our Beehive family is coming together to support our friend and fellow stylist, Sheena. Sheena was recently diagnosed
with Squamous Cell Carcinoma and is currently scheduled to undergo surgery this Friday, January 16, 2026, where she will lose half of her thumb, with the possibility of losing the entire thumb, in hopes of getting clean margins.
As a self employed hairstylist and a single mom to three beautiful girls, this is a devastating and life altering challenge she is currently facing. The financial strain alone that this places on Sheena is a heavy burden to carry, and we hope that as a community, we can come together for Sheena and her girls to lighten her load in any capacity.
We believe that God is walking with her every step of the way and we want to surround her with love and support. If you feel led, please consider donating, sharing her donation links, or offering up a prayer on her behalf.
Every donation and prayer matters, so please join us in lifting Sheena up at this time.
“God is within her, she will not fall.” - Psalm 46:5.

We are also accepting cash donations at the salon if you would like to give to her personally. I’m sure she would love to hug your neck and thank you in person!❤️

Thank you so much for your prayers and generosity during this time.

At The Beehive Salon, we believe in taking care of one another — and right now, our stylist Sheena Green needs us. She is facing cancer surgery on December 16 and will be losing half of her thumb, possibly more. This impacts not only her health, but also her ability to work and provide for her two children still living at home.

We are asking our salon community to come together in prayer and support. Please consider donating or sharing the GiveInKind page (with links to her GoFundMe & Venmo) to help lighten her load as she walks through this journey.
Thank you for loving her the way she has loved all of us.💛
