My kimono teacher, Sueko Oshimoto, worked as a kimono specialist for the drama SH**UN, which won multiple awards at the Emmy Awards! 👏 Congratulations to Hiroyuki Sanada for winning Outstanding Lead Actor, Anna Sawai for winning Outstanding Lead Actress, and to the entire production team! 🎬✨

Oshimoto-sensei played a significant role in showcasing the beauty of kimono and Japanese culture to the world through this work. I am incredibly proud that she was part of such an amazing project that has been recognized globally.❤️❤️❤️

『ユニバーサルきもの着付師®』（一般財団法人国際美容協会認定） ：これまでのきもの着付師の役割を広げ、これからの社会や福祉の領域に求められる、多様な人々のニーズに対応する能力を有する技術者を認定します。

At the beginning of this year, the first-ever ‘Universal Kimono Dresser®’ certification ceremony was held in Tokyo. Although I couldn’t attend, I received my certification that traveled across the seas and took a commemorative photo.

The ‘Universal Kimono Dresser®’ (certified by the International Beauty Association) expands the role of traditional kimono dressers, recognizing the ability to meet the diverse needs of people in various social and welfare fields required in today’s society.
