Do you love helping people feel confident? Are you organized, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment?

The Wig Shop is looking for a compassionate, dependable Sales Consultant to join our team. We specialize in helping women experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions, aging, or lifestyle changes. Every client deserves a warm, caring, and professional experience.

Responsibilities:

* Assist clients with selecting wigs, toppers, and hair accessories.
* Provide exceptional customer service in a one-on-one consultation environment.
* Learn our products and assist with fittings.
* Process sales using our computer-based point-of-sale system.
* Answer phones and schedule appointments.
* Wash, style, and maintain wigs and displays.
* Keep the showroom clean, organized, and inviting.
* Unpack and lift inventory boxes up to 50 pounds.
* Receive and check in inventory shipments, verify items against packing slips, and organize stock.
* Multitask efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

* Excellent people and communication skills.
* Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Able to stand for extended periods.
* Able to safely lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Hair styling, cosmetology, or beauty industry experience is a plus but not required.

There are days when we look in the mirror and don’t recognize the woman looking back.

Sometimes it’s because of hair loss.
Sometimes it’s because we’re getting older.
Sometimes it’s because life has been heavier than we ever imagined.

We all carry things that no one else can see—heartbreak, loss, disappointment, illness, stress, self-doubt, or simply the exhaustion of always trying to be strong.

I’ve learned that confidence isn’t something we’re born with. It’s something we lose occasionally … and something we can regain again.

For 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping women who walked through the doors of The Wig Shop feeling vulnerable, scared, and unsure of themselves. I’ve watched their faces light up when they saw themselves smile again. But what I’ve realized is that it was never just about the hair.

It was about hope.

It was about feeling like yourself again.

And if I’m being honest, I’ve had seasons in my own life when I’ve needed that reminder too.

So today, I want to remind you of something that I hope you never forget:

You are not defined by your hair.
You are not defined by your age.
You are not defined by the hard things you’ve been through.

Your beauty has never been limited to what you see in the mirror.

If you’re struggling today, please know you’re not alone. Be gentle with yourself. Healing takes time, confidence can be rebuilt, and there is always hope for a brighter chapter ahead.
