Hey y’all 👋🏼 I just wanted to pop on here and say hi! To be honest, I don’t think I’ve EVER introduced myself.
So here’s a little about me and how I finally took the leap into extensions:
I had been doing hair for for 18 years, since 2005 (Doesn’t seem like the numbers are adding up correctly 🤪) I was 18 years old when I started doing hair. I fell in love with the rewarding feeling of doing someone’s hair and making them feel so good about themselves. I didn’t get into extensions until 2021! I got my first set of hand tied weft extensions in 2018 and felt like an ✨absolute queen✨. I toyed around with the idea of doing them myself but never thought I could do it! I thought I didn’t have the clientele for it. I knew nothing about extensions. But I just couldn’t get over the feeling I had when wearing them and knew I HAD TO start offering them to my guests too. I went to a class (that shall remain unnamed 🫢) and I hated the method but that’s when I knew FOR SURE I wanted to get certified with . So I FINALLY sign up and boom, Covid happened. It would be another year before I pulled the trigger and I’m so grateful I did!!! The feeling I get when I see YOUR face light up after a new install… I know that feeling! You feel like a QUEEN! And it’s priceless. Then over the past couple months, I began to have some challenges. I was feeling defeated, and was ready to give up. I reached out to IBE®️ and decided to take a hands on, in person class! Let me just say… IM SO GLAD I DID!!!! It was worth every dollar, every hour it took to travel there. And I would do it again in a heartbeat. I feel so much better about the service I’m able to provide for YOU! (Yes, you!) I’m motivated! I’m inspired! I’m ready to make you feel like the queen you deserve to feel like!

The reason I decided to do hair 18+ years ago was because it was such a rewarding feeling to make people feel better about they way they look and the way they feel. Deciding to do extensions had taken that feeling to a whole new level. This has got to be the most rewarding thing I have done in my career. To see the glow and the smiles shine after a new instal is something that’ll never get old. Receiving hair that you never thought you could have is priceless.

As your hair grows out, your extensions move with the hair. I always set your first maintenance appointment at 7 weeks and we can decide from there if you can go longer. I also evaluate the scalp and make sure everything is looking good. No redness and tension spots are what we want to see. I then look at the extension hair and see how the color is doing. Not always, but usually it will need to be the rooted. The color fades just like normal hair. For the best blend, color matching is always key 🔑 Then it’s time to reinstall 🙌🏻
