I want to begin by expressing how bittersweet this post feels 💕
While I'm thrilled to announce some exciting changes and new partnerships here at Pure, I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the amazing women I've had the privilege of working closely with for nearly 12 years! Our bond has grown beyond colleagues; we've become like family.
It's been incredibly rewarding to witness each of them evolve into such talented and successful stylists, as well as nurturing mothers, wives, home owners and so much more! 😘😘
I'm equally excited for their new journey at Studio 4! We all wish them nothing but the best💕🍾
The decision to part ways wasn't easy. Originally, we had hoped to relocate together, but ultimately, we concluded that this path was best for everyone as we embark on the next chapter of our careers and lives.
I'm thrilled to be anticipating my partnership with Steph and Simplicity Boutique. Simplicity offers brands that make a positive impact, spanning apparel, jewelry, wellness items, and home decor.
I'm enthusiastic about our collaboration, from daily boutique operations to future community support events. Steph's commitment to humanitarian causes is truly remarkable! 🥰
Furthermore, we are excited to welcome Angela Malecki as a stylist! Angela joins us from her highly successful salon, Clips, in Regent Square. With her wealth of experience in the industry, she brings invaluable expertise. Her decision to take this professional leap mirrors our own feelings of bittersweet excitement. We can't wait to welcome her into our salon family! We want her to relish in fewer responsibilities and find a place to work and unwind!
While hair services will remain our focus, we're also thrilled to introduce skincare among other new services, with more details to come soon!
Our aim is to create a serene, relaxing environment where clients can escape reality for a few blissful hours.

Effective February 1st: Base price on all services will increase by $5
To our Pure clients,
As we all know, this year has been such an eye-opener to all of us, especially to our small business here at Pure! We are so thankful for all of our clients for their continued support of all of us throughout this year and every year; we don’t know what we’d all do without you! Of course, with a new year comes new obstacles, and this year that includes the extra costs that have accompanied the ongoing pandemic: extra cleaning and sanitation, the following of ever-changing guidelines, cdc recommendations, and state board regulations, and the increased costs of supplies and shipping of supplies for essential products and services.
In order to keep up, we ask for your understanding and continued support with this price increase. We love you all!! Please know we could not do it without you 🤍🌱

Hello to all of our PURE clients!!!
We are so excited to be able to finally say that Pure a Salon is ready to be back in business as of June 5th!
It has been a very long time, and we have missed you all so much. We are so eager to get our hands on your hair!
We can hardly wait to see each and every one of you! However, with 11 weeks worth of cancelled appointments, we’re just asking for your patience while we try to accommodate everybody as efficiently as possible.
That being said, we have been mandated to implement a lot of new regulations and guidelines to follow so that we can keep us all safe and healthy. We have to abide by these rules and regulations, and we require everyone to follow them, too. Part of this is that we are only able to operate at 50% capacity while in the green phase, which means our schedules are going to be changing. Each of us has had to alter our days and hours Individually, and we are doing our absolute best to make it possible to get everyone in—when and where we can! We know everybody is eager to get their hair done, and we are just as excited to do it, but we are just asking (again!) for all of your patience throughout this process.
So, without further ado, here are the state-required guidelines and restrictions:
🌱 We ask that you arrive 5 minutes early and call us on the salon number to confirm you are here for your appointment. At that time, we’ll ask that you wait in your car. As soon as we are sanitized and ready, we will call you in.
🌱 We will be wearing masks, and we require that while you are inside the salon, you wear one, too. Customers are required to wear a mask upon arrival. If you do not have one, you can purchase one from the salon for $1.
🌱 Everyone’s temperature will be taken at the front door. We do ask that if you are sick, just got over being sick, or are not feeling well, that you please stay home. We can reschedule you for a later date.
🌱 We will also be asking all clients to use our provided hand sanitizer and wipes to properly clean your hands and cell phones before welcoming you into your station.

🌱 It is also in our stated guidelines that you cannot have any extra visitors with you during your appointment. We ask that you be alone, because, as we mentioned before, we’re only allowed to operate at 50% capacity. That means that no children or friends will be allowed to accompany you to your appointment. If it is your child’s hair appointment, we ask that they come into the salon alone while you wait in the car. We can only have one client per stylist there at a time. Thank you guys for understanding!
🌱 Unfortunately, we are unable to offer our clients any beverages or snacks at this time, so our coffee bar will be off limits for now.
🌱 With all the newly implemented requirements, we are charging a service fee for COVID-19 of $15 to every service. We are now required to add many new things to the salon, as well as to our daily routines while working: masks, gloves, extra capes, new towels, daily sanitation, as well as a weekly deep cleaning service, extra amenities such as hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, Lysol sprays, barbicide, bleach cleaners, new barbicide containers, new combs, new clips, new brushes, etc. This is a temporary fee, but necessary for our current situation at the salon.
🌱 Appointment scheduling is going to change a bit also, as of right now we are not taking any standing appointments past August. Hopefully we will be able to change that soon!
🌱 Time is going to be a major factor for us during this new phase, so we respectfully ask you to please be on time for your appointment! If a client is more than 10 minutes late, we will need to reschedule you for a later date; we are on a strict schedule with the limited time we have for appointments and the sanitation process following each appointment. This is to ensure the safety of each and every customer. We are following all proper cleaning and sanitation guidelines before and after each and every client, as well as multiples times throughout the day in our salon.
Lastly, and always, we are so appreciative of you all! We cannot wait to see you, talk and catch up with you, and fix all that quarantine hair! No more at-home roots or kitchen-scissor bang trims!!! We know this is going to be a strange new time for everyone, but we appreciate your tolerance with all of this and everybody taking the time to read and follow our new rules and restrictions.
We also want to note, a couple of us Pure girls have family members who are immune compromised and we especially appreciate your cooperation with all of these guidelines.

We wanted to reach out to all of you! To let you know we are taking every step, and precaution to be ready as soon as we get the permission to re open.
As of right now salons are in the green area of the “reopening”phase in Pennsylvania. If you aren’t aware, it is the last phase. (we will never again color anyone’s hair green, no matter how bad you want it) 😂
They really haven’t given much detail as to how long we will stay in the yellow.
(Which we haven’t even entered yet)
So there really is no way as of right now to give anyone a date of when we will be back in the salon.
We sure do miss everyone terribly. ❤️
When we do get the go ahead, please be patient as we try and get everyone taken care of! It will be very interesting navigating all of those appointments. 😂We will do our best and work as much as we can to accommodate all of you! (We’re guessing lots of restrictions will be in place for us as well)
I also want to take a moment and thank everyone who have reached out with phone calls or texts. They have all been so kind and supportive and very much needed in this very difficult time for our families. We appreciate them more then you know😘we truly have the kindest clients who we all consider friends in the world!

Wouldn’t that be amazing if Alexa could do our hair while we are in quarantine?!?
❣️ To all of our incredible Pure clients,
As I’m sure you all know we have been mandated to extend our salon closing until May 8th for now. We will remain closed until then and as eager as we all are to reschedule and open back up, we are going to wait to start scheduling clients until we have an opening date and are aware of any restrictions we will have to follow for once we re-open! That will allow us to rebook correctly and efficiently to get you all in!
We truly miss the salon and all of our amazing clients! We appreciate all of the messages we’re receiving and can not wait to get back to mixing and applying color, cutting hair, extensions, just getting our hands in there and also hearing what you have all been up to!
Thank you for your patience and loyalty to all of us! We hope you are all staying healthy and safe and not experimenting too much with your hair while you are away from us! 😆😉

Lol but for real!! We are missing our amazing clients and being able to do what we are passionate about everyday! While we are trying to keep our community healthy and safe, we miss all of you and appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
Since we are out of the salon let’s look at it as a chance to take advantage of this low maintenance time being at home with extra care for our hair by using deep conditioning treatments and masks to give your hair that extra kick of moisture and hydrate!! Also, maybe try a week with little to no heat to help heal the hair and give it a break from all of the hot tools so once we’re back it’ll be healthy and ready for that fresh spring makeover!
Until then try these hair tips and know we are all looking forward to seeing you all soon!! Stay healthy and safe ❤️

Dear Pure clients,
We have made a decision to do our part & what’s best for our community and close as recommended for the next two weeks. This is very new territory for all of us. We’ve never experienced anything like this.
Please be patient as we will try and reach out to everyone and accommodate them the best we can when this all settles. We will be reaching out over the next two weeks to get clients rescheduled.
We wish for all of you to stay healthy, and hope that by us doing our part this will make that possible .
It is important to listen to what we are being told. Continue to distance, wash your hands and most importantly spend time with those you love. If we all do our part, we will get through this together.
We all have loved ones who are elderly, or have compromised immune systems that we have to protect. ❤️ we will see everyone in a couple weeks. We value each and every one of you and can’t wait to get back to normal soon.
