I wasn’t going to share on Facebook.. but decided this is a perfect time to remind clients to please kindly reschedule your appointment with me if you are not feeling well.

Emmet caught a stomach bug that turned our world upside down within a matter of hours of it staring. We took him in because his eyes were rolling back in his head. Along with yellow skin, pale lips, and more lethargic than we’ve ever seen him. We were stuck in an ambulance and transported to The University of Iowa.
Rapid dehydration made his potassium levels drop dangerously low, which then causes his heart to struggle. And in this case his liver and kidneys as well.

He’s made a lot of improvement and we hope to be coming home within the next couple days. 🙏🏼

Please just let this be a reminder that not all babes can handle everyday viruses like we can. Our little man has proved time and time again that he’s tougher than ever. But there’s still a list of everyday medications that he can’t take like the rest of us. We are as careful as we can be not to bring sickness home to him. In this case it wasn’t a client, but a sibling. It happens.

But if you find yourself questioning if you feel good enough for your hair appointment. Please reach out. I promise I will be as flexible as possible finding a new time that works for you.
