I had some time in between patients today so I decided to open the windows and hang some new art.

I learned recently that my office layout was not accessible enough. It was very difficult for people to move around with a wheelchair or other mobility devices. Now I have tons more floor space to work with, and it's easier for patients to navigate. Added bonus, I had room for even more plants! The renovation really drove home the point that accessibility features don't just benefit one group, they enhance the overall experience for everyone who walks through the door, whether it's employees or patients.

Hard to believe it's been 10 years since I took my first barefoot ashiatsu class. My arms were still so skinny! Before I gained some muscle and learned better deep tissue techniques, this was the only way I could apply a lot of pressure in a massage. Nowadays, I have no problem giving eight massages in a day.
