Good Morning everyone! Fill that Big Buddy up this morning with good ol' H2O instead of soda today. My goal is to drink at least 64oz, but prefer to hit that 96oz. Join me in hydrating and fueling our bodies. Ice cold water....yummo!!! #

As a mom, nurse, EMT, and wellness coach, I have gotten to be a leader in many different shapes and forms. These guidelines holds true for all. I need to remember this most of all as a mom. We tend to use all of our nice faces at our jobs and run out for home. So my challenge to you and myself, before we act, ask if it's how you would act at work, if not, our family doesn't deserve it either.

This is my journey for the year of 2016 and beyond. I want to love me again. In turn, this will make me a better mother, girlfriend and caregiver. I am ready to become in line with my faith again as well as the person who God wants me to be.

The changes aren't just for me this year! My hunny was working out right along side of me. What a difference it made!
New Years Plan:
Keep Budget for 3 months
2 dates a month
2 designated fun days a month
Work out 4-5 days/week
Never miss a Monday workout
30 minutes of reading a day
Weekly craft time
NO going to bed mad
Never forget a goodbye kiss
Donate time as a family 3 times this year.

Went out on a limb this am. This is what my house looks like on a daily occurrence. No, it's not pretty, but we all start somewhere.

Many of you know parts of my journey and story. I have struggled with my weight, body image, and depression from a young age. Well, I have been successful at losing my baby weight twice, once with Team Beachbody, but due to life struggles hadn't stuck with it. Over the last couple years, I have completed my divorce, nursing school, and EMT school along with raising two little girls, working, and finding my life partner. I usually ate on the run and made poor choices, so I gained a lot of weight. Both girls are in school now and I am finally on day shift; it's finally time to do this right. I have started regularly working out with the Beachbody programs and drinking Shakeology daily. My energy has greatly increased as well as my attitude. I have lost 5lbs and 11 inches so far in 1 month. The support at home and through the challenge groups are what really keep me going. Opening my phone up to lots of sweaty pics really gets me going :)

I declared today Rest Day. Lack of sleep, muscle soreness, and a busy day meant Rest Day. I made good decisions for food today. Went out for supper and had a grilled chicken sandwich with potato wedges instead of my usual burger and cheese curds.
