Thank goodness for this glorious rain today! Snapdragons will forever remind me of my paternal grandmother- we called her Grandma Ski. The talking snapdragon flower is one of my favorite things to show little ones in the garden because it was one of my first core memories around the garden. That and taking home my picked snaps and lilacs in a little bundle wrapped in paper towel and a plastic baggie 💕💕💕 come take some flowers home this Saturday 10-2! And please spread the word! 😘😘😘

This Tea Blending program is open to ALL AGES (kids, teens, adults) and free to enjoy!

Looking for a little peace and quiet amidst the rumbling motorcycles at Rebel Road? We’ve loved walking downtown and checking out all the cool bikes this week. And then it’s nice to have a little slice of country in the city to get your fill of chirping birds and fluttering butterflies!

Hannah from First Quarter Farms harvested lots of vibrant flowers and beautiful tulsi aka holy basil today. We loved having her and learning more about all the beautiful herbal medicine she creates and sells at the Muskegon Farmers Market! Check out her hand crafted goodies, we’ve been enjoying a lovely sleep aid tincture that’s safe for the whole family and is so tasty!

Tulsi is in its prime flower stage right now and has an intoxicating aroma that is spicy and peppery, floral and sweet. The bees get red/orange pollen baskets on their legs from gathering nectar from these gorgeous purple flowers! One of my favorite herbs! Ok I have lots of favorites lol

Thank you to our friends and family for coming and supporting us. Y’all really know how to make us feel loved and I’m so thankful for every single one of you who choose to spend a little time with us in the garden. Love y’all so much🥹💕

Flowers are still going strong 💪🏻 Zinnias and pincushion, plus a few of the dahlias will be blooming soon! We got another couple beds prepped and planted and pulled so much of this gnarly grass out 🎉 I aim to be this level of unbothered as this grass that was trapped under a tarp for months! Like how is it still alive?!

Anyway! See you this week! 💕🐝🌼

$10 suggested donation for approximately 20 stems! Bring your own scissors and water vessel, wear appropriate shoes and clothes, kids are welcome but must be supervised. Come and play in the flowers it’s so fun to see people enjoying the garden and taking home a beautiful arrangement!
