Grey transitioning journey!!!!

Client is naturally 80% grey and has been on her journey for 3 appointments.

Let's break that down:

Previously colored hair with highlights / lowlights, dark permanent under color and 2-3 inches of new growth.
New growth was predominantly white with minimal natural tone

1st transitioning appointment: full head micro lights to mimic natural white growth pattern , Grey tone added as a glaze to ease into added root grow out. Absolutely zero color was placed on any new growth area....

Remember: goal is to transition the hair into not having to color anymore!

2nd transitioning appointment: 8 weeks later, toner/ glaze only to refresh and trim ends.

3rd transitioning appointment:16 weeks from original appointment, toner wash only and trim

Client is now free from any coloring and requires only minimal haircuts or desired conditioning seasonal treatments.

Details: natural level 5 hair with 40% Grey coming in. She wanted to look natural.

Before: colored with permanent color every 4 weeks
After: customized lightened pieces to mimic her Grey growth pattern / absolutely zero color on her roots area / toned with custom formula to fit her mids & ends.
Now she can go without coloring! A mini toner refresh is recommended in 2-4 months if desired.
