Sometimes we see all the products, steps and trends and think we're supposed to be doing ALL of it.

We're not. 😊

Find a routine that works for your skin, your lifestyle and the time you realistically have — and then be consistent with it.

A few simple steps you actually use can be much better than a complicated routine you never want to do.

Don't save the “good stuff” for a special occasion.

Wear the lipstick.
Use the perfume.
Put on the earrings.
Take those extra few minutes for your skin care.

Sometimes those little things aren't really about how we look at all — they're simply a way of saying, “I'm worth taking a few minutes for, too.” 💗

You don't need somewhere special to go.

Ordinary days count, too.

Those simple steps can be easy to overlook when we're busy, but they're the ones worth making room for every day.

And here's something else I've learned: your skin care doesn't have to look exactly like someone else's. What works beautifully for your friend may not be what YOUR skin needs.

You know that product you reach for without even thinking about it? The one that has earned a permanent spot in your routine?

One of mine is Mary Kay® Eye Makeup Remover.

It's not the most glamorous thing in my makeup bag 😂 — but it's one of those products I appreciate every single time I use it. At the end of the day, I want my eye makeup to come off easily so I can get on with my nighttime skin care routine.
