A facial shouldnāt be a checklist of everything we can do to your skin.
It should be a thoughtful decision about what your skin actually needs today.
Thatās the philosophy behind the three Rituals.
TOUCH is where we begin.
Before I decide what needs correcting, I want to understand your skināhow it feels, how it functions, what it tolerates, where it struggles, and how it responds in my hands.
BALANCE is about creating the conditions for healthy skin to function well.
Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is hydrate, nourish, calm inflammation, support the barrier, and give the skin what it needs to become more resilient.
And then there is REFINE.
When your skin is ready, we can become more intentional about addressing texture, tone, congestion, pigmentation, signs of aging, or whatever your priorities may be.
That might mean an enzyme.
It might mean a peel.
It might mean extractions, advanced modalities, or targeted correction.
And sometimesāit means none of those things.
Because more treatment doesnāt automatically mean better treatment.
The real work is knowing which response we want from your skin, what will create that response, and when your skin is ready for it.
Thatās why you donāt have to figure out a complicated treatment menu before you come see me.
Choose your Ritual.
Iāll take care of the rest.
Your skin sets the pace.
The art of touch. The science of skin.

A good facial isnāt measured by how many steps we can fit into 60 minutes.
One of the biggest shifts in my approach to skincare over the years has been realizing that doing more isnāt always doing better.
Your skin doesnāt need every modality, every active, every extraction and every treatment simply because theyāre available.
It needs someone to understand what itās communicating and know when to stimulate, when to correct, and when to simply support it.
Thatās what makes a facial at Ritual different.
You donāt need to know what enzyme you need, whether you should dermaplane, or which modality to book. Thatās my job.
You just bring me your skin. š¤

Nearly 20 years in aesthetics has changed the way I think about beauty.
Iām Amanda, aesthetician and owner of Ritual Aesthetics.
An aesthetician since 2008, Iāve had the opportunity to wear a lot of hatsāesthetician, lash artist, educator, business owner and mentor. More importantly, Iāve had a front-row seat to an industry that has changed enormously.
Iāve watched aesthetics become more advanced, accessible and results-driven. We have incredible technology, ingredients and more ways than ever to change skin.
But Iāve also watched it become fast.
More products. More treatments. More pressure to keep upāand sometimes the feeling that if we arenāt actively fixing something, we arenāt doing enough.
Somewhere along the way, my philosophy started moving in the opposite direction.
This season of my life has taught me about slowing down. Savoring the process instead of constantly reaching for the outcome. About patience, intention and creating space to simply be.
Iāve realized how much those same things matter in aesthetics.
Results take consistency. Not every concern needs an aggressive solution, and more isnāt always better. Understand what the skin needs, support it well, and give it time to respond.
I donāt believe advancing the science of skincare should mean losing the ritual of being cared for.
There is value in the exhale when you settle into the treatment bed. In slowing down. In thoughtful touch. In having someone meet youāand your skināwhere you are that day.
That evolution became Ritual Aesthetics.
The art of touch. The science of skin.
A place where clinical knowledge and intentional treatment meet the therapeutic power of touch. Where education comes before sales and treatments are personalized to you.
After all these years, I still love the science. I still love working with my hands. I still love watching someoneās skin change.
But these days, I appreciate the process just as much as the result.
Slow down. Be cared for. Trust the process.

What turns a routine into a ritual?
For me, itās intention.
After nearly twenty years in aesthetics, Iāve watched our industry change tremendously. We have better technology, more advanced modalities, and more information at our fingertips than ever beforeāand I love the science behind what we do.
But I donāt believe advancement has to mean losing the human element of care.
That belief became the foundation for Ritual Aesthetics.
The art of touch meets the science of skin.
Here, results matter. Education matters. Understanding why weāre doing something matters. But so does the experience of being cared for.
I believe consistency will take us further than constantly chasing the next thing. That healthy skin is cultivated over time. That a treatment can be technically advanced without feeling clinical. And that rest, touch, and allowing yourself to simply settle in have a place in a modern approach to aesthetics.
Because the things we return to consistently become our ritualsāand when we genuinely enjoy those rituals, caring for ourselves stops feeling like another thing on the to-do list.
That is the Ritual Aesthetic. š¤
Whatās something ordinary in your life that youāve turned into a ritual?
The wait is over. The doors are open.
Welcome to Ritual Aesthetics.
After nearly two decades as an esthetician and educator, Iāve created a space where skin health is approached with intention. No two people are alike, and no two treatments should be either.
Whether youāre here for a restorative facial, advanced skin treatments, or lash artistry, every appointment is thoughtfully curated to your skin, your goals, and your ritual.
Iām so excited to welcome you.

A space created with intentionāfor healthy skin, beautiful lashes, and a moment that feels entirely your own.
Now welcoming new clients in Market Common, Myrtle Beach.
The art of touch. The science of skin.
There are moments in life when you realize it was never really about the place.
As Iāve been reflecting on my years as Lotus Lash Aesthetics, Iāve realized that Lotus was never the room, the logo, or even the name. It was always the people.
The beautiful faces who trusted my hands. The conversations shared on the treatment bed. The women who celebrated milestones with me, grieved with me, laughed with me, and came back year after year. My fellow estheticians who shared space, knowledge, and friendship. The students I had the privilege of teaching. The flights between Myrtle Beach and Boston. Even my boys, who grew up watching their mom build something she loved.
Every chapter shaped me.
To every client, student, coworker, mentor, and friend who was part of Lotus Lash Aesthetics over the past decade⦠thank you. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and allowing me to be a small part of yours. I carry every lesson, every memory, and every bit of your support with me.
Lotus will always hold a special place in my heart.
But after nearly 20 years as an esthetician, I knew it was time to create something that reflected not just what I doābut who Iāve become.
⨠Ritual Aesthetics.
The same hands. A new space. A deeper philosophy rooted in intentional skin health, thoughtful lash artistry, and slowing down enough to make self-care feel meaningful again.
This isnāt the end of the story.
Itās simply the next chapter.
