Pride is more than rainbow capitalism, parades, & partying. Pride is a protest. Pride is political. Pride exists to show solidarity in resisting discrimination and violence. It began as a riot in 1969 against police brutality, which in 2025…still feels far too fu***ng familiar.

But Pride is also a celebration of how our community is stronger than the hate that is directed toward us. How we lift each other up and find happiness in living our truth out loud. Pride is hope, community, family, and acceptance.

And remember, ACAB includes the Fun Police. Let people celebrate how they want & mind your business.
