Rachel Parker Hairstylist

After years of getting my hair done I always saw how much fun and passion my hairstylist poured into her work, never making it look like a “job.” From that moment on I knew I wanted the same thing for my career, leading me to pursue cosmetology. I received my cosmetology license from the Academy of Technology and Academics in 2008. Instead of going straight into the industry, I went to Clemson University for a degree in Business Management. While in school I continued practicing my skills by creating Up-Dos for sorority functions and building up regular clientele for routine haircuts. After graduating in 2012, I entered the industry by starting the associate program at Mirage Hair Studio to gain confidence and re-educate myself. Hair is my passion and I’m always challenging myself to find new techniques and styles that I can customize for my clients. I love when hard work and creativity join together leaving the client feeling happy, and that they’ve found their “look”.
