East Lyme Police Department

🚧 I-95 Blasting at the Route 161 and Exit 74 Project 🧨
Beginning *January 5th, 2026* blasting will take place along the Southbound side of I-95 for approximately six weeks.
This will result in 5-10 minute road closures of both Northbound and Southbound lanes, Monday through Friday, from the hours of 9am to 1:30pm.
Motorists are encouraged to remain on the highway as the closures are anticipated to be short in duration, however detour routes will be posted.
